About Dr. Michele
God planted a vision within Dr. Michele for a ministry with many facets that would bring restoration and wholeness to all people. The experiences that we have encountered through the course of our lives have left us with unmet needs and wounds that must be healed if we are to truly experience the fullness of God. God impressed upon Dr. Michele’s heart His intense desire to heal His children. We at Life Renewal Inc. are His body, His hands, and His voice to touch those who are hurting. For those of you that would like to know the educational background of our founder, Dr. Michele has four earned degrees. She has an A.A. in Biblical Studies, B.A. in Christian Counseling, and M.A. in Clinical Christian Counseling with a minor in Christian Education, and a Ph.D. in Christian Psychology. She has earned five board certifications with the National Board of Christian Clinical Therapists in Integrated Marriage and Family Therapy, Cognitive Therapy, Sexual Therapy, Group Therapy, is a Clinical Supervisor, and also is certified through the Grief Recovery Institute of America in Grief Recovery.
Dr. Michele is licensed by the National Christian Counselors Association as a Clinical Pastoral Counselor with advanced certification. Dr. Michele is an Ordained Minister and she is also ordained as a Senior Chaplain by the International Fellowship Chaplains.
She believes in the integration of sound Christian Psychology, counseling tools, and the Word of God to be applied to the whole man -- body, soul, and spirit. She believes that as specialized Christian ministers of counseling we are to be His hands and voice to bring healing and wholeness to every individual.
About the Ministry
Life Renewal Inc. is a faith based, non profit corporation called to counsel, teach, encourage, and equip believers for ministry. Our goal is to reach out with the love of God to bring emotional, relational, and spiritual restoration to our community and the Body of Christ. We offer Christ-centered counseling, prayer ministry for inner healing, and life skills training for abundant living through Bible studies, Seminars, Small Groups, Classes and Workshops. We provide services on a sliding scale basis to make counseling affordable to everyone.
